Summary

The aerobic granular activated sludge is a promising new technology that can be applied to various types of wastewater plants for treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater. Compared with most of the existing technologies for wastewater treatment, aerobic granular active sludge offers high quality purified water, low operating costs and high environmental impact.  Bio Engineering Doo has already gained considerable experience in the application of aerobic granular processes and based on that experience we intend to establish research capacity to develop innovative new technologies of aerobic granular process which will be further applied in wastewater plants to treat wastewater market at local and regional level. The aim of this project is establishing a research center that will establish and build new technology of aerobic granular process that will continue to apply, for the newly built small and medium industrial and utility systems for wastewater treatment as well as for upgrading of already existing medium and large treatment plants. Newly established laboratory will have potential for pilot production of a new generation granular active sludge through further optimization of existing laboratory process for the production of aerobic granular biomass.

Summary

The aim of this project is to build an early warning system for heart attacks to people with heart disease. It provides installation of portable ECG biosensor setting data center, development of mobile and web application, and organizing 24 hour on duty health care based on early warning. Motivation comes due to the fact that at least every second resident died of a heart attack. Additionally, due to stress and intense life, the limit, of people with potential risk for a heart attack, goes down for persons over 65 to persons over 40 years.

Summary

The project involves the development and commercialization of a system along with mobile applications for various operating systems to enable multiple devices in order to synchronously (at the same time) to listen to music, it would sound like to arrange some kind of remote speakers and thus providing enhanced sound. The advantage of ARLOPUS is that delay couldn’t be noticed from one device and the devices can be synchronized in advance and all at once.

With ARLOPUS you can organize mass events (happenings), for example, in parks, city squares, stadiums, gyms, etc., and in various promotional campaigns.

Summary

The project is for the development and construction of production line for processing waste glass composed of units of breaking glass, glass bottles and jars, unit for non glass parts removal and units for separation of glass granules in dimensions. Thus waste glass would be suitable for reuse in different industries. The ultimate goal is the industrial processing of the waste glass (cullet). With the development of this product line, Akron will expand its sphere of action. This production line is the basis for further development and realization of the goals. With the committed funds we will cover the costs of people employed, providing and adapting the space for the development and installation of production lines, procurement of materials, parts and semi-finished products and manufacture of the technology as a whole, accessories as industrial scales, computers and excavator, and expenses for market research and patenting. The result of this project will be the production line, glass waste which will provide added value necessary for the economic viability of its placement. At the same time will affect the ecological awareness of recycling, will reduce the quantities of glass waste that ends up in landfill, which would make a significant contribution to preserving the environment.

The project aims to thermal liquid insulation is to achieve a certain level of saving energy consumption and preserving the environment. The production of such a product is of great importance for households and all other social and economic sectors. Cutting edge nano-technology with all the features align the law on energy efficiency. Easy application of all types of flat and uneven, accessible and inaccessible areas without protection and mandatory training. Replaced approximately 50mm of classic insulation with only one applied layer of 1-2mm thickness of 1 m2. Easy and inexpensive application in energy, makes this material superior in terms of cost compared to other insulating materials.

Summary

The project aims at making the machine that will perform horizontal micro tunnels underground, allowing to set underground facilities (water supply, sewerage, optics, gasification etc.) without excavation and open channel (ditch). The machine is designed to replace the current process of demolition of streets, highways, railways and crossings on which they make updates. The machine is especially useful in urban environments where protection of existing structures and dynamics of the current operation is of particular importance. The innovative solution consists of a combination of modules that can perform a variety of diameters and lengths of boreholes, setting underground installations.
